Packing & Shipping Stone
Setimar packing and shipping Procedures
Tile Shipping & Packing
Care is taken during packing and loading of Tiles to insure minimum damage during shipment. 1cm thick tiles are packed in Styrofoam boxes and loaded into wooden crates. 2cm thick tiles are loaded directly in the crates with foam sheets up and down and around inside the crate and banded for extra security.
Slab Shipping & Packing
Care is taken during packing and loading of Stone Slabs to insure minimum damage during shipment. The slabs are packed in either in 20 foot dry containers, or they are put on open-top containers. Iron "shape a stands" are used to support the slabs and they are braced with heavy timbers to prevent shifting. Slabs are separated individually by plastic sheets to protect against scratches.

Block Shipping & Packing
Stone Blocks are loaded directly into the dry box container or open top container, with thick wooden supports under the blocks. They are then placed on the ship and secured for shipment.
